Parliamentary Internship & Mentoring Program
The Parliamentary Internship & Mentoring Program is a non-partisan paid internship program that was established in 2011 by Senator Yonah Martin and former Member of Parliament Barry Devolin (co-chairs of the Canada Korea Interparliamentary Friendship Group), in partnership with Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation and Korean Canadian Cultural Association. As a part of the program, interns are selected from Eastern Canada (Toronto and surrounding area) and given an opportunity of a lifetime to be an intern in the office of a Parliamentarian. In 2022, this internship opportunity will held virtually through Zoom, and the program will run from September to December 2022.
Since its establishment, there have been 7 cohorts of successful interns who learned first hand of Parliament and Canadian politics. To learn more about the past interns and where they are now, click here.
